How it began
I studied Electronics and Computer Engineering, and built a home-automation prototype in college because it brought hardware and software together. Years later, that experiment became Hawiot Private Limited, my home-automation company. What began as curiosity became a mission to make automation simpler and more accessible.
— Veera SanakaThe problem
Home automation can feel like a complicated upgrade: unfamiliar hardware, installation questions, and uncertainty about service after the sale. In smaller cities, access to dependable products and trained support adds another barrier.
What it does
Hawiot connects everyday home controls through smartphone and voice interfaces. Retrofit modules can retain regular switches, while touch panels offer a different control experience. Sensors, schedules, and scenes help bring individual devices into useful routines.

Why I’m building it
The goal is practical convenience: technology that fits the home and becomes part of daily life.
